  • Embracing Her Love by Lynne St. James

    My Review

This particular book in the series broke my heart on many levels.  First Anu is born and held in captivity.  That alone in itself is difficult to comprehend.  Then add all of the other things that are uncovered, gave tears in my eyes.

Ben has held the love of his family and his streak, close for so long.  Now it is his time to lead.  He is strong, loving, and courageous.

My favorite part of this book is when Anu was talking to Harvey.  They always say pets are the best listeners.

embracing her love, anamchara, paranormal, fantasy, romance, menage, love, erotic romance, jk publishing, lynne st. jamesAnamchara was supposed to be a safe haven for those who came to find peace and love. A hidden town in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, protected by magical wards from the outside world until it was discovered by Branwen’s enemies, whom have fought for years to destroy Anamchara and Branwen, their ‘faerie godmother”. That’s when life took some dangerous twists for its residents.

After defeating an old enemy, the people of Anamchara thought they were safe at last. At least until Ben found Anushka, a white tiger shifter, outside the wards and begging for help. She’d come to him to save imprisoned white tigers with ties to his father, the Alpha of the Anamchara Streak. Realizing she’s his mate, he’s torn between his loyalties to his streak and helping his mate, especially after discovering she is already promised to another.

Against Ben’s better judgment, and with the help of Kristy, Quinn, and members of the town, they come up with a plan to rescue the tigers. Accompanied by volunteers from his tiger streak and Jeremy’s wolf pack, they set off on the perilous mission and if they are successful, they’ll not only save the white tigers from their horrific existence, but he’ll be able to complete the bonding with his mate—that is as long as Andrei, the other male tiger agrees to the threesome.

Will they be able to succeed without bringing more danger to the people of Anamchara?

This action packed paranormal fantasy will have you clinging to your e-reader as you hope Anushka, Ben and Andrei can survive their enemies and find their happily ever after.

  • Cover Reveal ~ Gay for Pay by T.M. Smith

Christopher Allan Roberts thought he had a promising future. Captain of the football team with the promise of a scholarship to play for Alabama. His high school sweetheart and best friend for as long as he could remember Amanda by his side, and the love and support of his family. One night, one mistake changed everything. Chris moves to New York, adrift and alone. A walk one night brings him to the flashing lights, loud music and thrumming bodies at club Berlin. A flyer in the men’s room promises fame and fortune for anyone willing to go on camera and have sex, with another man. Money is money, and how hard could it be, right? There are plenty of videos out there online featuring on websites like HD Tube Movies and many others, what’s the harm in having a couple of videos uploaded into the abundance of others?!
Linc Larson is All Cocks most requested, most versatile model. The openly bi-sexual gay porn star will do anything with anyone, which pretty much writes his ticket in a versatility charged industry. Lincoln Carter is honest with everyone in his life, including his family, about who he is and about his sexual preferences. It’s not his sexuality that interferes with his personal life though; it’s his inability to trust.
What Linc wants right now, more than anything, is the chance to do a scene with All Cocks newest acquisition, Kris Alen. Six foot two with Auburn hair, an exquisitely toned body and enough ink on his skin to put Crayola out of business, Kris Alen is sex personified. Linc doesn’t know if it’s the “I want the shiny new toy” aspect that calls to him, or the distant and wounded expression that haunts Kris’s eyes. It becomes painfully clear soon enough that Kris is straight and only working the gay for pay angle that All Cocks brings to his bank account.
Can a bi-sexual man with trust issues break down the barriers that Christopher has built around himself and help Kris come to terms with the painful past he is hiding from.
Gay for Pay is a gay for you story about two men that will have to come to terms with the mistakes they made in their past if they want to stick around and have a chance at a future.
Gay for Pay is the first book in a series I’m planning that centers around the particular online gay porn site, All Cocks. I’ve always been intrigued by the inner workings of the industry, I follow the cockyboys site and their fearless leader, Jake Jackson, closely. They really seem like a family of sorts. So that is what I hope I’m creating with this new series. A group of guys that are drawn together for whatever reason, and become a family.
This first book will focus on the story of Christopher and Linc, but several of the characters you’ll learn more about as the series progresses are introduced. Chris and Linc were born from a conversation I had with a couple of gay porn stars at a book convention I attended in 2014. I don’t want to give too much away, as I want to keep everyone anxious to grab a copy when the book releases in June. And for anyone attending Rainbow Book Fair in Tampa in July, I’ll be there as well with a ton of paperbacks so you can stop by my table, we can visit, and you can grab some goodies!

~ An excerpt from Gay for Pay…

A trip to the bathrooms and Chris learned there really were Glory Holes in men’s rooms. And from the sounds that were leaking out from under the stall next to him, he was certain someone was getting nailed to the wall in there, literally. A loud thud and the wall shook, then a scream and a guttural moan alerted Chris that whoever was in there had found their peak. A cute little thing with long black hair streaked blue, eyes lined black as night fell out of the stall while zipping up his pants, with what could only be described as a grizzly bear following behind him. Chris had to look up at the guy, and that didn’t happen often.

Quickly making his way back to his group of friends smiling, anxious to tell them what just happened, he stopped in his tracks when he saw Linc pushed up against the bar, a big guy with black hair claiming his mouth. Linc wrapped his arms around the guys neck as he pulled the man closer, rutting up against him. Even over the bass of the music and the ringing in Chris’s ears, he could hear the moans Linc was emitting. He thought for a moment that the guy was going to fuck Linc right there up against the bar. He was sort of hard, a little jealous and very confused at those two emotions. He had never been turned on by another guy when he wasn’t in the mindset of Kris while filming a scene. Or out at the house surrounded by all that sex and the job. But right here standing in this loud, dark, smelly bar with half naked bodies writhing all around him, watching Linc climb up the guys body and wrap his legs around his large waist, Chris was turned on.

A military brat born and raised at Ft. Benning Georgia; Smith is an avid reader, reviewer and writer. She now calls Texas home from her small town on the outskirts of the DFW Metroplex. Most days you can find her curled up with her kindle and a good book alongside a glass of something aged and red or a steaming cup of coffee! At 42 years young, she’s decided to enter the next phase of her life by adding the title of “author” to her list of accomplishments that includes single mom of three disturbingly outspoken and decidedly different kids, one of which is Autistic. Smith is and outspoken advocate for Autism and equal rights for the LGBTQ community. Her Opposites series is based outside the normal parameters of social acceptability, examining a ‘what if’… What If to be gay or lesbian were the norm? What if to be straight labeled you as an Opposite and made YOU the Outkast?

  • Not Vanilla – Voyeurism

Not Vanilla - Voyeurism photo Not Vanilla Voyeurism_2000_zpsmjbnz5jf.jpg

    My Review

If you want a couple of quick reads about voyeurism, then read this book. Yes there are two stories here and they are far from Vanilla! One is about a woman who has an obsession with her neighbor and their Sunday “dates” where he screws his partner for the day so she can watch and masterbate from her apartment.

The other is about a woman who likes to watch her guy screw random hook ups, but it offends her as much as it turns her on. It is something that is keeping them apart. However, he has a kink all his own that may just fix things for them.

Like I said these are two short hot reads.

    Synopsis

USA Today Bestselling Author Roz Lee, and Bestselling Author Jennifer Lynne, invite you to taste the forbidden in a brand-new series offering a tantalizing glimpse into a range of “flavors” that are definitely not vanilla!

The first in this series, Not Vanilla (Voyeurism), includes Watch Me by Jennifer Lynne and Lookin’ Good by Roz Lee. These sexy, novellette-length stories are designed to take you into the erotic world of the watcher and the watched, while still holding onto the romance.

     Lookin’ Good by Roz Lee

I wish I had never told Travis my deepest, darkest secret—that I like to watch. I should have known he would want to give me my heart’s desire. I love him more than anything, but I hate him for using my weakness to try to win me back. Moreover, I hate myself for not being able to turn down the gifts he brings me. ~ Bailey Rose

     Watch Me by Jennifer Lynne

I was so afraid, when my husband uncovered my secret. Afraid he’d hate me, or think me disgusting, or be completely turned off. Equally scared this watching game I play with our sexy neighbor might be shut down for good. Can William bring himself to join my addictive Sunday night ritual, or will he force me to choose between the man I love, and the sexual urges that consume me? ~ Isabel

Excerpt of  Lookin’ Good by Roz Lee

Beth elbows me in the ribs. “He’s here again,” she says, pitching her voice to be heard over the band. It isn’t humanly possible to be less discreet. “He’s lookin’ good, don’t you think?”

Everyone at our table gawks at Travis, even the ones who have to turn around to do so. To say Travis is lookin’ good is the understatement of the century. Trust me, he’s got nothing on the rodeo guy Penny has been crushing on. I’ve seen the guy. Travis is a good six inches taller, and, where the other guy could be described as lanky, absolutely no one would apply that adjective to Travis. His shoulders are broad, his chest muscled and covered with enough hair to make your tits stand up and beg when he brushes up against them. You could do laundry on his abs. It’s a good thing he rarely ends up on his ass when he competes, ’cause there ain’t an ounce of fat back there. It’s all muscle, girlfriend. Don’t get me started on how his backside looks in a pair of jeans. Well, everyone who’s ever seen him knows already.

His eyes are the exact shade of faded denim, framed with long lashes I would die for. No matter how often he shaves a shadow of his dark beard shows. He knows it drives me crazy when he lets it grow a day or two. From where I’m sitting, it looks like his face hasn’t seen a razor since day before yesterday. The man is trying to kill me. I swear.

I shrug for the benefit of the girls at the table then tip back the tequila shot I’d been hanging onto since arriving. It might as well be acid for all I taste.

Suddenly, getting blind drunk sounds pretty good. I raise the empty shot glass above my head, waving it around until our waitress gets the message. A few minutes later, she takes the empty, plunking a full one down in its place.

If I look at Travis, he’ll know exactly what I’m trying to do, and he’ll be angry. So, I don’t look. Instead, I raise the glass to my lips and tilt it up, throwing my head and the liquor back at the same time. Just like watching Travis, I have to pace myself with the drinking. Yeah, I want to get shit-faced but not as much as I want what Travis is here to give me. This time, I slam the thick glass onto the table, leaving it there while I savor the burn in my gut and wait for the tequila to blur the lines between virtue and obscenity.

Oh, how I love to play the virtuous woman when deep inside I’m anything but. That’s the power Travis holds over me. He knows, and he loves me anyway.
I don’t know why I can’t accept his love, but I’m sure it has nothing to do with him or his gifts and everything to do with me. I’m fucked up.

My fuckedupedness grabs me by the pussy, and I glance in his direction again. Sure enough, he’s looking right at me, warning written in every line of his face. He’s told me before drinking won’t make the fuckedupedness go away, and I know it’s true. Lord knows I’ve tried to drown it in alcohol more than once. With Travis, I tried going cold turkey, which lasted all of three weeks before I went on a binge. That’s when he decided it was up to him to give me what I needed, measuring the doses and doling them out on an as-needed basis. In between, he would be all mine.

I don’t know if I would have gone for the plan if he’d discussed it with me ahead of time or not, but he didn’t, and I didn’t. Go along with it, I mean.

Yet, here I am, creaming the panties I don’t have on and clutching an empty shot glass to keep from touching myself. My insides quiver, and, like a junky, I need a fix. Thank God, Travis will give me one.

    Synopsis

After a humiliating command performance at Lincoln Center, the Barden Bellas enter an international competition that no American group has ever won in order to regain their status and right to perform.

Last night, while all my friends were are at RT in Dallas, I went with a girlfriend to go see Pitch Perfect 2.  If you are looking for the same kind of feel of the first film, you will not find it in this one.

Now I am not saying that this  movie was not entertaining, because it was.  Many scenes were predictable, however, surprisingly the big romance of this movie did not involve Becca.  I think that was the best part of the film!  I can’t tell you who that is with, you will have to go buy a ticket and see it.

Some of the songs, I did not recognize and I am not humming them today.  I did purchase the soundtrack when I left the theater because what I did remember was very cool.

If you hare acca-dicted to Pitch Perfect definitely go see this file.  I was laughing and it didn’t disappoint in seeing all our favorite characters.

    unnamed

    My Review

Welcome to Rockwell Island!  Here you aren’t just at at island resort, you have come home.  That especially was true for Shelley.  When she first thought of the idea of a solo honeymoon, she never thought that it would wind up not so solo after all.  Shelley fell in love at first sight with the island, the people and most of all, Quinn.

Quinn is a workaholic.  He left the island because he felt it was a prison than a paradise.  When his grandfather makes him and his brothers come back, he feels closed in yet again….until he sees Shelley in the cove.

Their romance is a whirlwind and worthy of a Hallmark Special.  He is every woman’s dream and she is a free spirit that reminds him of the good of the past, present, and future.

Their love is what everyone wishes they could have.  Can’t wait for the next installment in this series.

But on his first night back, when Quinn finds a gorgeous and carefree woman skinny-dipping in his favorite cove, he’s tempted to ignore his work for a while…and focus on her instead.
