BDSM Blog Hop!

I am so happy to be participating in this blog hop. I am in no way, shape or form, “in the Lifestyle”, however, I love reading about BDSM and watching BDSM porn so much that I regularly consider watching grannys get fucked. Because of this, I wanted to introduce to you a part of this world.

One aspect of BDSM is community and openness to answer questions. While reading books, I learned of one way BDSM emulates this openness and community is with ….A Munch.

According to NYC Munch on Fetlife.com:

“A munch is a low-pressure social gathering for people involved in or interested in BDSM. A munch is usually held in a restaurant.

Who can attend?:

If you are minimum 18 years old, please join us and be among kindred spirits. We welcome all at this Munch. For those who are new or curious, this is a perfect way to get introduced to the lifestyle in a friendly environment. It might be helpful for some to do some research about the kinds of things we get up to in the BDSM culture through websites like lxtube.xxx. Understanding the sexual roles we play can help you to ask questions that will help you to get the answers you want quicker.

*Who is a typical person who attends these munches?

Regular everyday males and females, who happen to share an interest in the Dominant and Submissive Lifestyle.

*How to dress to The Munch?

We would appreciate that you dress with the knowledge that this is a vanilla restaurant. We understand that you would not want to dress like you would practicing BDSM on websites similar to Porn-HD. We do not want to bring attention to ourselves nor the establishment from other patrons. That means dress as casual as possible. Most people come directly from work, so they are already casually dressed or in their work clothes.”

Again, this was found for the NYC Munch Group on Fetlife.com. Fetlife.com is an excellent place to find a Munch near you.

How awsome is it that you can go and have people in the know actually answer questions. I mean you can’t do that with any other club you can think of.

How did I learn about munches you ask? I read Tymber Dalton’s Suncoast Society Series. The Suncoast Society is the social “vanilla” name that the group of people in the lifestyle found in these books named their Munch. They named it such for the day of the week they meet. Since a Munch is usually a public place, they wanted a vanilla name that people could ask the greeter at the restaurant where they are located.

I have to say Tymber Dalton sucked me right into this series with book one, Safe Harbor. This is the one book of the series that I have read over and over again. It is one of my “go to books”. There is not a book in this series that I have not given 5 Hearts.

Although each book can be read as stand alone, here is the reading order for the Series:

Safe Harbor (1)
Cardinal’s Rule (2)
Domme by Default (3)
The Reluctant Dom (4)
The Denim Dom (5)
Pinch Me (6)
Broken Toy (7)
A Clean Sweep (8)

Tymber has a Facebook page just for The Suncoast Society Series. For more information on everything that is Tymber Dalton, please visit her website here.
