DefendingDefending by Jami Davenport
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Grady and Aspen might have been brought together be art, but their bond goes deeper than skin deep. Both have members of their family go missing, so they really get “it”. One of the two gets closure on more than one front. The other does not. Isn’t that how it is in reality? Not everyone always gets a total HEA. Luckily when it come to love, Grady and Aspen DO get their HEA. Love how there is more than one story line in this book, however, I hope it resolves in the next book.

Dragon Secret (D.O.A. #10)Dragon Secret by Cree Storm
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Wiz always knew his dragon was special and had secrets. When a serial bully keeps telling boys to kill themselves and they do, Wiz feelslike it isall his fault. With the help of the newest members of DOA, they try and find out who the bully is. During the investigation, Wiz finds out that the detectives are his mates. Together with his mates and his secretive dragon, they try to find the bully and save future boys from death and find out their dragon’s big secret. I understand being bully. I was the fat girl for years and was made fun of it until I was in tears. Suicide is not the answer to bullying even though it might seem to be. If you or someone you know is contemplating suicide, please call or text 988 for help.

Rocky Start (A-List Security #4)Rocky Start by Annabeth Albert
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Avery and Malik are workmates. Avery always supressed a side of himself, which is probably why his relationships with women always failed. When thrown together on another film set, Avery gives in to that side. Malik is so sweet and patient with Avery. Together, they discover sides of themselves they kept hidden for a long time. Self discovery and passion leads to a book you need to read.

Dragon PrinceDragon Prince by Cree Storm
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Who knew there was another DOA group? Blade and some of the other Poconos crew travel to New Mexico to help DOA2 find missing people and find out the identity of a mystery man that showed up at their door. I really love the relationship Blade has with his dragon. Best friend and more. I know each DOA member’s dragon shares their soul, but Blade’s is deeper than that. I also really enjoy the new species of paranormal we are interoduced to. Orion is sent by Heck to help all of DOA for what they are about to face.

Seeing Is Believing (P.D.A. #1)Seeing Is Believing by Cree Storm
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

If anyone has read any of my reviews of this author, you know how much I enjoy any new world she creates. This new series is no different for me. Paranormal Detective Agency (PDA) is a new group of humans and paranormals who look at crimes and find out who did it? Was it really a paranormal or someone trying to sabatoge them now that humans know about the Paranormal world. Vampires, Psychics, humans and shifters all work together to have them all live in peace. But we all know that isn’t how things go. I love how Soren and Ashe worked seemlessly together before they knew they were mates. Their souls sang to each other. Love that saying. Can’t wait for the next book!

Wolf's Little Imp (Bratburg Daddies Book 3)Wolf’s Little Imp by Cooper McKenzie
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The name of the book confuses me as the main male character calls his love his “Little Warrior”, but that is the only criticism I can give this book. Poppy only defended herself against a creep, and is given a choice of either going to Bratburg or work with the creep to fix damage to his club. You know what her choice was! Diego knows Poppy is his from the start. She is into Paranormal Daddy books, so his secret isn’t upsetting to her. I thought it funny that Poppy calls Diego “Papi”. Poppy/Papi. Some action from a bully and a great amount of passion in a cabin makes me want to read the next book as soon as possible.

Drake (Pittsburgh Titans #5)Drake by Sawyer Bennett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Brienne needs to make sure the Titans comes back from tragedy. Not doing so is not an option. After leaving negotiations to other people with no acceptable results, Brienne embraces the saying “If you want something done and done right, do it yourself.” I love her ‘get it done’ attitude, yet she isn’t afraid to say she is sorry for something she did. Drake was wrongly cancelled from the NHL because of his ex-wife. Even when vindicated, no one wanted him. He was content being a retired single father to his boys, until Brienne came to see him. Now he is a Titan and he and Brienne cannot stay away from each other and really don’t want to. Friends with benefits becomes more. Drake and Brienne melts the ice and heart.
