I will admit that before this book, I never read this series. I then went read Book 1-4 all in one shot. So happy I did.

Cole is a real man in every sense of the word. Works with his hands, he uses his brain, loves his family unconditionally, and knows the way to a woman’s heart is through her child. I rally hoped he and his brother and brother-in-law would have wound up beating up Darby’s ex. He so deserved it.

Darby is such a strong female lead. She put her daughter and herself first when she found her marriage over. She stood up for herself and she didn’t play the victim.
I will be adding WhyNot to my literary towns I want to visit one day.

Synopsis:
