• The Making of Matt by Nicola Haken

I have been waiting for Matt’s story.  This book affirms my story that there really shouldn’t be labels on a person.  Whether a person is bi, straight or gay really depends on who they decide to love.  You never know where you will find love or who will love.  Like Matt’s mom said, the person you love is the person you can’t wait to tell your hopes, your dreams and your fears to.  For Matt, that wasn’t a woman.  I think that once he came to terms with that, he went for it. Alex and Matt have been friends forever.

Alex has always had a thing for Matt.  Unrequited love sucks big time, but sometimes fate steps in and makes it something more.  This story has a substory in it that I don’t want to give away, however, it did touch my heart and brings forward an illness you just don’t hear much of lately.

This book will touch your heart and lift your spirits all at the same time.

Matt Carter, self-proclaimed sex-god and drummer for world renowned Souls of the Knight, didn’t have the time or inclination for planning his future, preferring to fill his days with music, women and alcohol. He didn’t want or need anything else in his life.Until the band parted ways and he found himself no longer living the dream.
Bored and lonely, with too much time and money on his hands, Matt turns to his best friend, Alex Clark, to help devise a new direction to take his life in. Together, they embrace their newfound venture, as owner and manager of one of L.A.’s hottest gay clubs – Kaleidoscope. For the first time, Matt has a plan. He knows where life is heading.

Until a devastating phone call turns his whole world upside down, sending him straight into the comforting arms of his best friend and leading him to doubt everything he’s ever known or believed about himself.

Alex had always been content with his unrequited feelings for his rockstar friend, but as Matt starts to question if he might actually feel the same, he runs as fast as his feet will allow.

Has Matt gone too far? Has his reputation as an irresponsible womanizer who refuses to take life seriously, finally managed to push his best friend away for good?

Or is Alex hiding secrets of his own?

Nicola lives in Rochdale, England with her husband and four children (six if you include the dog and cat!) She is the author the author of the m/m romance Souls of the Knight series, and is currently working on a standalone with new boys, James and Theo, due for release early 2016. When she is not busy playing with her imaginary book friends (or talking about them with real life friends!) she can usually be found carrying out her ordinary mum/housewife/all round slave duties. Oh, and if the kids ever ask, she moonlights as the Pink Power Ranger while they’re sleeping…

I write Young Adult urban fantasy, science fiction, and romance novels. I live in Texas with my husband and three kids and my endless imagination.

Just a free-lance lover of the written word and fictional worlds… Everyone has that one perfect book boyfriend… I wanted my own, so… Here we are!
I’ve been writing since I figured guys in real life don’t do what I want them to do, and there is nothing better than to write the stuff you like… Until I realized that THOSE boys don’t do what you want them to do, either… *sighs*

    Meet BA Dillon:

A Vision in Time followed in May 2015, and Shattered by Time is expected in 2016. It’s About Time, a novella, will be released in early September. What can I say. I love reading
    Total addiction.
    I love all Romance Novels.
I am a sucker for happy endings and Alpha boys
I love books that make me happy and wanna laugh.
    Meet Terra Kelly:
A romance nerd at heart, I tend to find inspiration in my dreams, or when walking my dog. My love for romance goes all the way back to when I was 15, and laying on my best friend’s bed reading romance books. It only took me 25 years to start putting all my stories on paper….well actually a computer. I was born and raised in Michigan, now live in the South in North Carolina. So my accent sounds like a Yankee with a slight Southern drawl. When I am not writing you will find me reading, or baking.
My real life romance started when I was just 19. Now over 20 years later, my husband is not only my lover but my best friend. We only raise furry kids, we have one dog and two cats. Our animals are all rescues.
I am a foodie, who loves creating recipes. Over four years ago I started a food blog at CafeTerraBlog. My love for food is why each of my books will always share new recipes made by the characters.
I love connecting with my followers. You can find me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest. I will keep you up to date on what I’m writing, book release dates, and so much more.
    Meet LadyJ:
I grew up in Upstate NY, but my heart belongs in Arizona. If given the chance, I’d gladly trade in frost burn, for sun burn! I speak in movie quotes ALL the time. Seriously, it might be considered a sickness by now 😉 I absolutely love the sound of others laughing. So I’ll try to get you to do just that!
I love coffee, peanut butter cups, and OF COURSE reading!
I grew up causing all kinds of trouble with my twin sister/partner in crime.
My wild over-exaggerated story telling grew, along with my love for reading. With the support of my hubby and the encouragement of my womb mate, I put pen to paper, and let my imagination take over.
I am an author currently working on the release of my debut novel. Forever Marked is a romantic suspense, and the first book in a series. I enjoy reading all genres. Paranormal, thriller, romantic suspense, dystopian…. You name it!

    Meet R.J. Loom:
R.J. Loom was born and raised along the shores of Lake Erie in Ohio, where she still resides with her husband, two teenage children and two spoiled dogs. She loves books, music, travel and anyone with a great sense of humor. When she’s not writing, she can be found with her nose in a book, looking for more books to add to her “to-be-read” pile or spending time with her family.
    Meet Franny Marie:
I live in Modesto, California(Too much hot weather) with my parents and Twin brother with Cerebral Palsy. I also have 2 cockers, buddy who is 3 and Ladie who is 1, they are my life.
When I’m not writing books, I spend the majority of my time being a caregiver to my parents and Brother, I also squeeze in some time to play with my dogs and read.
I love reading Romance, Mysteries and Thrillers. You can also find me, Listening to The Weeknd almost 24/7 his music inspires all of my stories, Just ask my chicken soup ladies 😉
I’m currently working on Book 2 and 3 of the Initiation Trilogy which is a mystery thriller and suspense novella’s also Still working on my very first Novel I started back in August 2013, Intensive it in its 5th rewrite, I hope to have that out to you all sometime in 2017.
Lastly, I’m dyslexic, sometimes it shows up in my writing, but thank god for beta readers and editors.

    Meet Lisa Messier:
I’m a 30 year old SAHM to three girls and am married to the most amazing man. I grew up in a small farming community in northern Alberta before moving to the “big city” at 20.
I write for the same reason I breathe, because it is necessary for my survival. I’ve been writing since childhood and actively keeping what I write since I was twelve. I love looking back and seeing who I was then reflected in the words I wrote. You can still see who I am now in the words I write today.
    Meet Shelby Reeves:
Wife. Mother. Food Support Manager at Walmart. Obsessions: Alabama Football and Harry Potter. Loves to spend time with family and friends. Born a Yankee, raised in Sweet Home Alabama.

  • Michelle Roth & Touch Me Not

    Michelle Roth Takes Over

Hi there, everyone! I’m Michelle Roth and I’m here to introduce my latest release, Bite Me. It’s the second in my vampire paranormal series, The Transfigured Ones. Magnus Corbett, my hero, was modeled a bit after Gordon Ramsey. I wanted him to be a rough around the edges guy who didn’t necessarily have time for love. I knew, whoever I matched him with would either need to be a bad ass chick who didn’t take any crap.. or she’d need to be so sweet that she called to the softer side of him. Caroline Lundquist is both of those things.

If you’ve got any questions about the book, for me as the author, or about the series in general, feel free to use the #transfiguredones hash tag and I’ll do my best to answer!

    BiteMe-EvernightPublishing-JayAheer2015-smallpreview

Magnus Corbett is the world renowned head chef for Usquebaugh, the wildly popular restaurant and whiskey bar inside the Foxwood Hotel and Casino. He’s certain that it was his status as one of the Transfigured that put him on the map. It will be bold flavors and his tireless work ethic that keep him there. And, if he has to be a little blunt to get things done? So be it.

When bar manager, Caroline Lundquist, develops a line of cocktails to breathe some life into the drink menu, she’s determined to have new gin-inspired dishes to pair with them. During their collaboration she finds herself falling for the side of Magnus that people rarely see. He’s sweet. Compassionate. Caring. As they begin to navigate the perils of a vampire-human relationship, both of their pasts crop up, threatening to destroy everything they’re working so hard to build together.

“That’s nice, but,” he said, frowning at her, “I really hate to bring this up but… I see no nudity or coffee, Caroline. You can’t promise things like that and then not follow through. It’s cruel.”

Smirking, she said, “You were gone for almost an hour after we talked. I assumed you forgot about me. So I drank your cup and then I took care of myself.” She gave a little shrug.

“You did, did you?” he asked, his cock stirring to life. “In what’s soon to be our bed?”

“No. I didn’t,” she said, confessed, laughing. “I did drink the coffee though. Then Lilly called me to tell me about the reviews and I got caught up in that.”

“New rule,” he ordered, his focus single minded. “You don’t get to play with your pussy unless I’m supervising.”

Caroline made a pouty face. “Not even a little bit?”

“Not at all, sweetness,” he corrected. “And I never said you could borrow my shirt, love. I’m going to need it back now.”

“Sorry,” she replied, giving him an unrepentant grin. She pulled the shirt up inch by tantalizing inch until he realized she wasn’t wearing anything under it.

“That’s it, love,” he said scooping her up and setting her on the edge of the island counter top. Then he picked up the hand that held her cell phone and suggested, “Read me a review. One of the longer ones because we’re going to be here a while.”

Caroline set the cell phone down and leaned back, watching as he shifted her thighs apart. When he ran the tips of his fingers along her damp folds, she let out a shuddering sigh.

“Someone’s a little needy this morning, isn’t she?” he asked, kneeling so that he was eye level with her pussy.

“Yes,” she agreed. “I’m always needy for you.”

“And I am for you too. Always,” he promised. “Why aren’t you reading?”

Caroline narrowed her eyes. “You’re serious?”

Magnus nodded, and then blew a gentle stream of air against her heated flesh. When she started to wriggle, he murmured, “Hold still, love. Let me…”

Gently he pulled her labia apart with his thumbs and swiped his tongue from her opening to her clit and back again. “God, love. You taste so fucking good. It’s a shame I won’t be able to continue until you start reading.”

Caroline moaned, balancing herself back on one arm and picked up her cell phone. A few taps on the screen later, she gave an annoyed huff.

Magnus resumed his task, swiping his tongue against her inner thighs, nipping gently at the sensitive skin there.

Caroline’s voice was somewhat broken when she began to read. “I had the distinct pleasure of spending my evening at Usquebaugh. As always, the atmosphere lively, the food amazing, and the drinks sub-sublime. Magnus!”

He took his time, moving his mouth to her pussy, drawing slow circles around her clit. He periodically dipped his tongue down to fuck her with it until she was panting.

“Magnus, please,” she whined. “I need…”

He buried three fingers inside her as far as they would go, fucking them in and out of her slowly, then lifted his head and said, “I need you to keep reading for me. I’m very interested to know what they thought of the individual drinks.”

“Owner Lilly Ferguson put together the ultimate” she broke off, gasping.

He stilled his tongue and fingers and waited until she began to speak again.

Her voice almost a high pitched, needy wail, she continued, “dream team of chef Magnus Corbett and bartender Caroline Lundquist. The dishes display the usual competency and flare that Magnus Corbett has always been known- been known for. However, the real surprise of the evening was the new line of…”

She could have been saying anything. He’d stopped paying attention the moment he’d buried his tongue in her wet heat. Every time she grew more slick around his fingers, he moaned. Her cream was the sweetest he’d ever tasted. If he had his way, he’d to keep her here, hips pinned to his counter, cumming until she couldn’t bear it anymore.

    Touch Me Not Blog Tour

    Title: Touch Me Not
    Series: A Manwhore Series Novel
    Author: Apryl Baker
    Genre: NA Romance
    Published: September 22, 2015
A past tragedy has left Lily Holmes burdened with a devastating secret…

Since the death of her twin sister, Lily can’t bear to be touched. Not accidentally, not casually…and certainly not intimately. This makes it impossible for her to confess to her best friend Adam Roberts that she’s in love with him. She can’t give him the sort of relationship he needs, so she watches in silence while he plans his wedding with someone else.

Enter Nikoli Kinkaid, the campus manwhore…
Nikoli is a self-proclaimed connoisseur of women, and he wants to add Lily to his list of conquests, but she wants nothing to do with him—until he makes her an offer she can’t refuse. He’ll teach her to enjoy human contact again, giving her a chance to win over Adam, while Nikoli uses all his considerable charm to seduce her.
    But Lily raises the stakes…
Lily loves cars. Her late father was a racer, and she grew up under the hood of a car and on the racetrack. Nikoli has a limited edition 1970 Plymouth Barracuda she covets, so she informs him the terms of their deal also require he not sleep with anyone for six months. If he does, she’ll win the car. If she surrenders and ends up in his bed, his beloved ’Cuda is his to keep.
In an intricate dance of control and surrender, a reluctant friendship becomes something more. Lily begins to crave things she never believed she could, and Nikoli realizes there is more at stake than his reputation.
If Lily overcomes her phobia, will she crave Adam’s touch as she’s starting to crave Nikoli’s?
Or will she only find pleasure from the touch of a semi-reformed manwhore?

“This was my first book by Apryl and I loved every minute. I couldn’t put it down and literally read this book within just a few hours. Lily and Nikoli pulled my emotions all over the place. One minute I was laughing, the next crying, then swooning, and of course I wanted to smack both of them a few times. Get ready for fast cars, a girl with a phobia, a prick of a best friend, and a hotheaded dirty mouth manwhore.” ~ Saint and Sinners Books

“Love, love, love this story. I ended up staying up all night to read the story and I had to work the next morning. Thank you for such a wonderful read and I can’t wait to read more in the series.” ~ Amazon Reviewer

“I felt every emotions there possibly is it seems while reading this amazing book! To overcome something is remarkable! To fight for what you want, unbelievable! This is just an amazing book to add to your list of books to read or to grab right now and read!” ~ Stormy Nights Reviewing & Bloggin’

So who am I? Well, I’m the crazy girl with an imagination that never shuts up. I LOVE scary movies. My friends laugh at me when I scare myself watching them and tell me to stop watching them, but who doesn’t love to get scared? I grew up in a small town nestled in the southern mountains of West Virginia where I spent days roaming around in the woods, climbing trees, and causing general mayhem. Nights I would stay up reading Nancy Drew by flashlight under the covers until my parents yelled at me to go to sleep.
Growing up in a small town, I learned a lot of values and morals, I also learned parents have spies everywhere and there’s always someone to tell your mama you were seen kissing a particular boy on a particular day just a little too long. So when you get grounded, what is there left to do? Read! My Aunt Jo gave me my first real romance novel. It was a romance titled “Lord Margrave’s Deception.” I remember it fondly. But I also learned I had a deep and abiding love of mysteries and anything paranormal. As I grew up, I started to write just that and would entertain my friends with stories featuring them as main characters.

Now, I live Huntersville, NC where I entertain my niece and nephew and watch the cats get teased by the birds and laugh myself silly when they swoop down and then dive back up just out of reach. The cats start yelling something fierce…lol.

I love books, I love writing books, and I love entertaining people with my silly stories.

    Until her.

Until the woman who claimed to be infatuated with him for years.

Until the woman he now couldn’t seem to get out of his head no matter how hard he tried…

Miriam Armstrong changed his entire perspective on women and for the first time in his life, he found himself wanting to settle down, to be a one woman man. Other titles in the Cottage Grove Series include:
    More Than A Memory
    More Than A Fling
The third and final installment in the Cottage Grove Series. More Than A Friend can be read as a complete standalone with a HEA.

Making my way into the kitchen I saw Eden leaning against the bar boring holes into her phone. “Baylor miss a check-in?” I teased her as I placed a brief kiss on her temple as a greeting. Something I began doing just to rile Baylor up. It was always amusing to see his eyes flare with jealousy.
That guy was fucking pussy whipped.
“No, I just got off the phone with Julia. She said that she wasn’t feeling well. I’m just worried about her, she has no one in Nashville since I moved away.”
Julia is Eden’s partner-in-crime and her right-hand woman. Jules had a snarkiness to her that I would’ve been completely balls deep in if it wasn’t for the fact that she was trying to cover up her blatant attraction to Baylor’s best friend, Dean. I may have been called a lot of things in my life and I wasn’t exactly high on Dean’s list, but I’m not, nor will I ever be a cock blocker.
“Eden, you know you’re worrying will all be in vain. You’re a newlywed, let loose a little. You worry way too much.” I perched onto one of the barstools across from Eden and leaned onto my forearms.
“I take it that I’m actually early for once since my punctual older brother isn’t here?” It wasn’t all too often that I didn’t get scolded for being the tiniest bit late.
“Bentley…You are far too hard on Baylor and not to mention yourself.”
This is what always happens when I’m around family. Maybe this was the way most families were, but I was a bit tired of the same old song and dance, constantly trying to stick up for myself. I leaned back in my seat, “No, Baylor is too hard on me. I’ve done well with the business for the past six months, he needs to cut me some slack and quit breathing down my neck.”
Eden released a long sigh, “He’s just stressed.”
“And again that all falls on me, right? Make a few mistakes in your life and you’re forever making up for it.” My voice was now to the point of rising. I noticed her grimace and then frown making me feel even guiltier. The weight was just continuing to stack on my shoulders.
Even the strongest of mountains crumbled when pushed too far.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t come here to argue.” It seemed it was always me left apologizing.
    Same shit, different day.
“Moving on. You brought up the topic of being a newlywed…” My heart immediately sank in my chest. I didn’t need Eden on my ass about settling down too. I liked my sister-in-law, but there was only so much pressure I could withstand. I didn’t want to have to take her out.
Mob style. The messier, the better.
“Have you used your groomsman gift?”
I gave her a sideways glance as I rubbed the back of my neck and tried to suppress my chuckle. She completely caught me off-guard. In all honesty, I had forgotten about the present. I originally thought it was a stupid gift, but then an idea suddenly hit me…
I was back to leaning forward on the countertop, and I looked her dead in the eye, no sign of amusement in my voice, “Do they give happy endings at this place?”
“Bentley!” She gasped as she quickly retrieved a dishtowel and snapped it against the bare skin of my forearm. She really shouldn’t be appalled, this was me we were talking about.
“What?!” I rubbed my arm with the slightest bit of pressure trying to get the sting of the cloth material to subside. “It’s a legitimate question. I’m going for a massage, it’s for relaxation, sometimes they may help relieve tension in other areas. You know, go the extra mile in the name of great customer service.” I ended with waggling my eyebrows, which just earned me a childish eye roll.
    Rude much…
“This isn’t a shady place, Bentley. Maybe for that particular service you’d need to find a whorehouse.”
“You kiss my brother with that mouth?” I couldn’t believe that I actually heard her correctly. Suggesting a whorehouse. As if I needed to go to that much trouble to find a woman.
    Pfft.
She smirked, “I relieve your brother’s tension with this mouth,” and countered with a bright flash of her pearly whites.
I stood from my chair, a shell-shocked expression plastered on my face. Covering my hands over my ears, I yelled, “AH! Abort! I can’t unhear that shit! I’ll talk to you later.” I decided I would take my chances getting choked out by my preteen niece than deal with this shit.
