By now you may or may not know that I love finding new authors to read. One such author is Michelle Roth. Michelle Roth is a novelist from Los Angeles, California. Previously a free lance writer for Examiner.com, she made her first foray into the publishing world with her erotic novel, Just a Taste. On May 28, 2014, Ms. Roth’s second book, Lip Service, was released by Siren Publishing. This is the second book in her Private Relations Series. Even though I received Lip Service as an ARC, I decided to buy her first book then read the second.
On the heels of a break up, Chloe isn’t looking to settle down. She’s just looking for a good time and she suspects that she’ll be able to find that with Chris. Together they explore her submissive side and she discovers that they’ve got more in common than she ever thought possible.
Chris isn’t looking for a relationship. He isn’t looking for any sort of emotional attachment at all. He gets far more than he bargained for though, when he starts to have real, deep feelings for Chloe. Will Chloe be able to break through the thick walls that Chris has built around his heart? Will he be brave enough to let her in?
I am so happy I decided to read Just a Taste first. There you meet Chloe and Chris and we are told that there is something more between them than meets the eye.
Chris has always had the hots for Chloe. However, bro code, states “Thou shalt not go out with your best friend’s sister”. He stuck to his guns for as long as he could, but when the timing was right, the code went out the window. Chloe always had the biggest crush on Chris. One day, Chloe decides she wants Chris and she will get him.
They are so cute as a couple. I was rooting for them since the first book. I am happy that Chloe’s brother, Deacon, didn’t keep them apart. I am sure his fiance, Sara, had something to do with that. I was so happy to watch their journey toward each other in mind, body, and soul. I had a lump in my throat once or twice. I really enjoyed this book and give it 4 Hearts!
The third book in the series, Unexpectedly Yours, has been picked up by the publisher. This one details the story of Jim Conroy and Elle Thomas. An August 2014 release is expected.
*As of the date this post was published, this title is only available from Bookstrand.com.
