I recently was contacted by two different authors regarding reviewing their books. So ….. here we go.
Unforgettable Kiss by Angela Ford
Meghan Eden swore she would never love again. The tragic death of her son, at the hands of her husband, destroyed her emotionally. She believed her successful Spa would fulfill her life until a business seminar takes her to a golf resort in Arizona.
Meghan’s love of golf gets her paired up with a man she doesn’t know. The rest of the world does. Eric Nolan is the most sought after actor in Hollywood and the most eligible bachelor in the hearts of many women. Eric draws out hidden desires Meghan never imagined and leaves an unforgettable kiss etched in her memory. One kiss from Eric leaves her questioning her decision to never love again. An emotional struggle to love again cannot stop the passion that unravels. But perhaps Meghan’s ex can. Released on early parole without her knowledge, he’s had the time to develop an obsession. Will Eric be able to keep her safe?
The story started off good. However, I didn’t like the fact that time jumped a lot. It seemed like the book should have been much longer than it was. If those gaps were fit in, I would have liked it better. That being said, the actually premise of the story was good. I just wish there was more of it. I particularly enjoyed the scene in the book that was right out of the move The Wedding Planner. I recognized that right away. Right down to her Gucci Shoes! But, like I said, I did enjoy this book, I just didn’t like the choppiness of it. The timeline for me didn’t flow, which is something I feel is necessary in a book. I can only say that I like this book. I can only give it 2 Hearts.

After he is shot and recovering in his hospital bed, Cole can only watch Garrett’s disastrous ride afraid it could be his last. Heartbroken when the battered and bruised bull rider leaves town, Cole knows better than to hope to see him again.
Attacked again and knee-deep in trouble, Cole wants only Garrett at his side. But can his bull rider trade fame and fortune for a lifetime with his one perfect ride?
Anyone who knows me knows how much I like cowboys. I don’t care their sexual orientation, I just love them! Garrett and Cole are very likable cowboys who I rooted for throughout the entire book. Before I forget to, I wanted to say that for a short book, there was a lot packed in there. Love, suspense, drama, hot-sexy cowboys and more hot-sexy cowboys. This book like most short books irks me because I wish they were longer. Perhaps the next one will be! I give this book 3 Hearts!
Eva Lefoy writes and reads all kinds of romance, and is a certified Trekkie. She’s also terribly addicted to chocolate, tea, and hiking.
