Seeking Two Lovers by Lynn Burke

What is better than one maim male character in a Lynn Burke book, two of course! Blaine and Greyson are just too hot for words, and Lily agrees whole heartedly. Blaine has a very troubled past that haunts him daily. If it wasn’t for Greyson, he wouldn’t know what his life would have been like. They were friends from the age of ten and have been friends since. Now that Lily is alone, she sees this app as a way to have fun. Then meeting Blaine and Greyson throws her and them for a loop. Without Lily, Blaine would never have healed and Greyson would still have unrequited love for Blaine. The three just fit in a way that has you wishing you were Lily. I know I did.

Finding my ex-fiancé beneath the man we invited into our relationship jaded my heart, and I refuse to share lovers ever again.

The dating app Missing Link offers me the chance to fulfill my desire of having two men love on me at the same time—without the crossing of swords.

Fate plays her games, and I end up separately dating two men at the same time, who as a whole, would be my dream come true. They’re roommates. Best friends. And neither knows the girl they claim to have fallen for is one and the same.

When the truth is uncovered, I perceive the unrequited love in one’s gaze and unrecognized feelings in the others. But the fear of being set aside a second time comes too late. I’m already in too deep.

“So now what?” I murmured, catching Grey’s gaze.

“We crawl back into my bed and snuggle the hell out of you so you can sleep since we denied you that post-fucking blissed state you enjoy so much.”

“A Lily sandwich?” I asked, one eyebrow raised in question, butterflies erupting in my belly.

Blaine groaned against my skin, his large hands palming my breasts, lifting them.

Grey thumbed over my aching tips his friend held toward to him, and I shuddered, my breath catching as Grey’s gaze lifted to the man behind me.

Or would he prefer a Blaine sandwich?

Goddamnit, I thought I’d been dead set against any male-on-male action. Feared to see it unfold, agonized over being set aside again.

But…why didn’t my throat tighten? Why wasn’t my chest squeezing the oxygen from my lungs?

“Do you two ever…touch each other when you’re with other women?” I asked in a rush—my usual word vomit before I thought the question through.

Their gazes clashed, and Grey’s eyes shuttered. “No,” he answered quietly for both of them, once more giving me his attention.

I expected a question in return—like did I want them to, but Grey kept quiet.

He turned off the water, and I shuffled over the thoughts and feelings flitting through me as they gave me their undivided attention, using a couple towels to dry me.

Perhaps I wouldn’t be averse to the idea of them interacting if an equal sharing remained between the threesome. Two guys together were always hot as hell in books and in the porn videos I was definitely drawn to.

Would Blaine allow Grey’s touch?

Would Grey lose himself in the man he obviously loved?

Would I be set aside if that barrier lay in wreckage beneath masculine racing hearts and hungry hands?

I imagined sitting back and enjoying the show, watching Blaine enjoy Grey’s gorgeous body. Or perhaps my tall, dark, and handsome would offer himself to his best friend who’d been by his side for over nine years.

The idea of both men giving and receiving created a deep ache inside me, and not from fear.

I wanted to watch Grey unleash all that passion he held back when looking at his best friend.

I lusted—bit back a moan—over the thought of Blaine offering himself up like a Sunday dinner to be worshiped. Devoured.

I am so going to hell.

I read the book in one day. I just could not put it down. Gian is just a ray of sunshine to Warren’s stormy life. Keith’s spirit and laughter are kept alive through our efforts to increase awareness about mental illness and to raise money for education and imperative research. Up in Arms by Kindle Alexander

I first reviewed this book in 2013 when it was first published. This is my original review with a few edits here and there.

One of my favorite authors is, Kindle Alexander. I have previously reviewed many of their books, now that this book has been re edited, I decided to reread and rereview Up in Arms.

Reed is the gentleman that every man or woman dreams of.

Trevor, even being a stacked Marine, has the many insecurities that typically woman have in stories. But, I fell in love with him before Reed did.

*********************SPOILER ALERT**********************

If you do not want to know what happens within the story, do not read any further than this. Just know that I adored this book and give Up in Arms:

I totally related to Trevor when he thought there was no way Reed could ever seriously want him past maybe one incredible round of hot sex. Did he want to ruin his adopted family?

Reed is sex on a stick. He can have any man he wants, and after taking one look at Trevor he only wants him. After Rylie’s wedding, well during the reception, Reed finally takes Trevor to bed to make love. Something he never has done. Of course, there is no morning after because Trevor’s special forces team get called for duty.

While in the jungle, Trevor can only think about Reed. He has his doubt about the relationship Reed told him he wanted. Was he telling the truth? Could he really want him? Once the task his is sent to do with his team, he finds himself in an impossible situation and finds Reed is there for him. Is it fair to have Reed in a relationship where Trevor is a burden? Trevor doesn’t think so, so he tries to push Reed away. I was crying and saying nooooooooooooooooo! But Reed, the loving Kensington he is, sees through Trevor’s actions and takes care of Trevor.

I love Reed….I want one of those. I am married, but damn wish he was like him!

Mega spoiler alert!!!!

Congressional Medal of Honor was definitely written all over Trevor for what he did. I am so happy we got to see experience it with Trevor and Reed.

Usually, I try for funny. Humor is a major part of my life – I love to laugh, and it seems to be the thing I do in most situations – regardless of the situation, but jokes are a tricky deal… I don’t want to offend anyone and jokes tend to offend. So instead I’m going to tell you about Kindle.

I tragically lost my sixteen year old daughter to a drunk driver. She had just been at home, it was early in the night and I heard the accident happen. I’ll never forget that moment. The sirens were immediate and something inside me just knew. I left my house, drove straight to the accident on nothing more than instinct. I got to be there when my little girl died – weirdly, I consider that a true gift from above. She didn’t have to be alone.

That time in my life was terrible. It’s everything you think it would be times about a billion. I love that kid. I loved being her mother and I loved watching her grow into this incredibly beautiful person, both inside and out. She was such a gift to me. To have it all ripped away so suddenly broke me.

Her name was Kindle. Honest to goodness – it was her name and she died a few weeks before Amazon released their brand new Kindle ereader. She had no idea it was coming out and she would have finally gotten her name on something! Try finding a ruler with the name Kindle on it.. It never happened.

Through the course of that crippling event I was lucky enough to begin to write with a dear friend in the fan fiction world of Facebook. She got me through those dark days with her unwavering support and friendship. There wasn’t a time she wasn’t there for me. Sometimes together and sometimes by myself, we built a world where Kindle lives and stands for peace, love and harmony. It’s its own kind of support group. I know without question I wouldn’t be here today without her.

Baden by Sawyer Bennett
