    Kyler is definitely a better choice than his best friend, Beau.  Beau didn’t really love Ashlynn the way a woman should really be loved.  I am so glad that Ashlynn could see that .  Fate stepped in and agreed that Ash and Kyler be together.  Only one who I wanted to punch more was Beau’s dad.  
     
     
     
     
    He was off-limits. Forbidden. I wasn’t supposed to fall in love with him… 

    Kyler was my boyfriend’s best friend. I never looked at him as anything more than a friend too, but that all changed when Beau deceived me.

    The sound of an approaching car gained my attention, and I got up and moved forward with purpose. Ashlynn’s car slowed to a stop just beside my bike and I barely waited for her car door to open before I moved toward her.
    “What are you—”
    I didn’t give her the opportunity to finish before I gripped the back of her neck and pressed her body against the side of her car. I used my own frame to hold her in place, and just before I kissed her, I saw her eyes widen in surprise.
    A moan escaped her and I found it drove me. I knew she felt something.
    I was so lost in our kiss, the way her hands circled my waist as she held me tighter that I didn’t get the opportunity to see it coming.
    Something impacted the side of my head and I stumbled sideways, bracing myself on the side of Ashlynn’s car.
    I faintly heard my name as I shook my head to clear the haze.  
    “You couldn’t fucking wait to swoop in and play hero, could you?” I looked up to see Beau standing between me and Ashlynn, seething with anger. “You were always trying to play the martyr when it came to me and Ashlynn. Looking for every chance you could take to jump in and be the good guy.”
    “Well, someone had to be the good guy.” I stood tall and stepped toward him, closing the distance between us. “Because we all know you don’t have the ability to be the good guy. Too busy focused on every other girl besides the one who should have truly mattered.”
    My words only seemed to infuriate him further, but at this point I no longer cared. It was out, he’d seen me kissing her. So even if she didn’t want this to go any further than it had, the damage was already done.
    Beau gripped my shirt and I didn’t even flinch. Instead I chuckled.
    “You wanna hit me?”
    “Yeah,” he sneered.

    Just when you think all of the Harrison children got their happily ever afters, we learn of one more.

    I felt so bad for Nick. I could never have handled what he went through with his mom. However, good things happened from it too. Nick finds a whole new family, Myles’s life is saved, and he finds the other half of his soul in Amanda. Love finds you when you aren’t looking for it.

    I loved when the Harrison children stood up to Daddy Dearest and stood up for Nick.

    Finally more to the love story of Alec and Brynn.  Even though I wish the two books were one book, it had no affect on how amazing to the story is.  I found myself crying along with both of them as they struggle to find themselves  and each other.

    Katelynn is awsome.  I love how someone so young can be a typical teen one minute and then down to Earth and wise beyond her years the next.

    I am hoping that Aric gets his story told too.  He deserves a happily ever after too.

    EXCERPT

    I redirect my gaze to my brother only this time I push back. “You wanna hit me, hit me.” I lean in closer to him, ensuring he reads the determination in my eyes. “If you want to yell and fucking scream then do it, but know one thing, you will be moving out of my way so that I can get to her. Because not you or anyone else for that matter is gonna to keep me from her.”

    “Noone but Mandy that is,” he adds just before releasing his hold on me.

    “I told you it wasn’t like that.”

    “You were with her all day,” he adds. “Yet you never felt the need to tell anyone about the plans I’m sure you’ve had for days to meet her. If that’s not guilt for doing something you knew you shouldn’t then I don’t know what is.”

    We stand there, head to head in the small space near the entry door to the room. Aric glaring at me as if at any moment he would attack, and at that point I wasn’t so sure I would stop him. I felt defeated because he was right, I fucked up.

    “Alec,” the sound of Brynn’s voice causes both of us to move toward her, as I quickly survey the damage. No longer did her stomach show the evidence of our child and the reality of what had taken place while I was unreachable hit me.
