We all have to be superior at one thing.
Well, fellatio is my thing—my forte.
I’m blessed because I enjoy the one activity I’ve perfected.
If they gave out awards for puff chores, I’d win the Nobel.
Blowing a man is an art form, a skill, one I’ve spent years refining.
My mouth is as talented as Picasso and as rare as the Allnatt Diamond.
The truth is I love being down on my knees because I know I have the power to bring you to yours.
In that moment, I own you and you’ll do anything for that pleasure.
I’ve never desired a relationship or a significant other. It’s not in my nature to be monogamous.
Variety is the spice of life, and I plan to sample every man I can.

Then my fantasy came true, and I got a chance to meet him.
    Keenan Stone.
    Gorgeous, rich, famous, and young.
    The thorn in my side.
    The pebble in my shoe.
    The fly in my ointment.

    But he is a gentleman.
    He has morals.
    He has feelings.
Three things I abhor in men I want to blow.
Ever been refused in a British accent?
For the first time in my life, I am brought to my knees.
And it isn’t for a BJ

Playboy, smooth talker, ladies man; these were just a few of the names that he was directly associated with. He took pride in the fact that he never had to seduce a woman to get her to fall at his feet. Normally, a look, a wink, and a flash of his sexy grin was all it took.
Any woman would jump at the chance to be with him, so much that he’s never heard the word, no.

    Until her.

Until the woman who claimed to be infatuated with him for years.

Until the woman he now couldn’t seem to get out of his head no matter how hard he tried…

Placed him in the Friend Zone.

Miriam Armstrong changed his entire perspective on women and for the first time in his life, he found himself wanting to settle down, to be a one woman man. But first, he needed to prove to Miri that the chemistry between them was worth being pursued, and that he wanted to be…More Than a Friend.

Other titles in the Cottage Grove Series include:
    More Than A Memory
    More Than A Fling
The third and final installment in the Cottage Grove Series. More Than A Friend can be read as a complete standalone with a HEA.

Making my way into the kitchen I saw Eden leaning against the bar boring holes into her phone. “Baylor miss a check-in?” I teased her as I placed a brief kiss on her temple as a greeting. Something I began doing just to rile Baylor up. It was always amusing to see his eyes flare with jealousy.
That guy was fucking pussy whipped.
“No, I just got off the phone with Julia. She said that she wasn’t feeling well. I’m just worried about her, she has no one in Nashville since I moved away.”
Julia is Eden’s partner-in-crime and her right-hand woman. Jules had a snarkiness to her that I would’ve been completely balls deep in if it wasn’t for the fact that she was trying to cover up her blatant attraction to Baylor’s best friend, Dean. I may have been called a lot of things in my life and I wasn’t exactly high on Dean’s list, but I’m not, nor will I ever be a cock blocker.
“Eden, you know you’re worrying will all be in vain. You’re a newlywed, let loose a little. You worry way too much.” I perched onto one of the barstools across from Eden and leaned onto my forearms.
“I take it that I’m actually early for once since my punctual older brother isn’t here?” It wasn’t all too often that I didn’t get scolded for being the tiniest bit late.
“Bentley…You are far too hard on Baylor and not to mention yourself.”
This is what always happens when I’m around family. Maybe this was the way most families were, but I was a bit tired of the same old song and dance, constantly trying to stick up for myself. I leaned back in my seat, “No, Baylor is too hard on me. I’ve done well with the business for the past six months, he needs to cut me some slack and quit breathing down my neck.”
Eden released a long sigh, “He’s just stressed.”
“And again that all falls on me, right? Make a few mistakes in your life and you’re forever making up for it.” My voice was now to the point of rising. I noticed her grimace and then frown making me feel even guiltier. The weight was just continuing to stack on my shoulders.
Even the strongest of mountains crumbled when pushed too far.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t come here to argue.” It seemed it was always me left apologizing.
    Same shit, different day.
“Moving on. You brought up the topic of being a newlywed…” My heart immediately sank in my chest. I didn’t need Eden on my ass about settling down too. I liked my sister-in-law, but there was only so much pressure I could withstand. I didn’t want to have to take her out.
Mob style. The messier, the better.
“Have you used your groomsman gift?”
I gave her a sideways glance as I rubbed the back of my neck and tried to suppress my chuckle. She completely caught me off-guard. In all honesty, I had forgotten about the present. I originally thought it was a stupid gift, but then an idea suddenly hit me…
I was back to leaning forward on the countertop, and I looked her dead in the eye, no sign of amusement in my voice, “Do they give happy endings at this place?”
“Bentley!” She gasped as she quickly retrieved a dishtowel and snapped it against the bare skin of my forearm. She really shouldn’t be appalled, this was me we were talking about.
“What?!” I rubbed my arm with the slightest bit of pressure trying to get the sting of the cloth material to subside. “It’s a legitimate question. I’m going for a massage, it’s for relaxation, sometimes they may help relieve tension in other areas. You know, go the extra mile in the name of great customer service.” I ended with waggling my eyebrows, which just earned me a childish eye roll.
    Rude much…
“This isn’t a shady place, Bentley. Maybe for that particular service you’d need to find a whorehouse.”
“You kiss my brother with that mouth?” I couldn’t believe that I actually heard her correctly. Suggesting a whorehouse. As if I needed to go to that much trouble to find a woman.
    Pfft.
She smirked, “I relieve your brother’s tension with this mouth,” and countered with a bright flash of her pearly whites.
I stood from my chair, a shell-shocked expression plastered on my face. Covering my hands over my ears, I yelled, “AH! Abort! I can’t unhear that shit! I’ll talk to you later.” I decided I would take my chances getting choked out by my preteen niece than deal with this shit.

  • Promo – Undercover Trouble by Autumn Piper

    Title: Undercover Trouble
    Series: Love-N-Trouble
    Author: Autumn Piper
    Genre: New Adventure Romantic Comedy
    Published: September 14, 2015

Some love lasts a long time, some a lifetime. Can theirs outlast space-time?

Randi’s summer vacation plans? Attending Professor Sudo’s Time Travel Academy so she can blast back to 1980 Miami and figure out where her father disappeared to. She’s the head of her class until hottie Mitch arrives disguised as a geeky geologist and totally messes up her meditation. Goodbye Soulful in Sedona, hello Yearning in Yoga. So long solo time-travel, hello pushy partner–who happens to be a buff tri-athlete, a sympathetic listener, and an ace FBI agent on a secret mission. With his help, she’ll conga her way into the Cuban mafia, try not to destroy the delicate fabric of the space-time continuum, dodge a few bullets, and solve The Mystery of the Missing Dad. And maybe fall just a little in love…

A new adventure in romantic comedy, with a heroine who boldly goes where no chick has gone before, tons of danger and intrigue, a roller-discoing Granny, life and death betrayal, steamy Miami nights and one hot FBI agent.

Amid stunning views of sheer cliffs, sandstone gullies, cedar trees, and sage, our chopper lowered. The beautiful blue-green ribbon of river wound below, cascading over falls I’d never expected in the desert. After a four-thousand foot descent, we touched down not far from the water, in a seemingly different world.
Mitch had spent the entire ride gripping his seat belt. Even when I’d pointed out the rising sun to him, he’d only flicked his eyes toward the east and grimaced. Ordinarily, I’d have razzed him. But since he’d been so kind about my fear of snakes, teasing him would have been churlish.
As we stepped out into the cool, bright morning, he heaved a big sigh of relief.
The pilot quickly checked out our GPS radio device to make sure it was operational, handed it to Mitch, and reminded us he’d meet us in the same spot at eleven the next morning.
We gathered our packs and moved away from the aircraft.
When the air had stilled again and the chopper shrank along the horizon, we began our hike to the Indian holy grounds, an area believed to be another energy vortex. Sudo’s itinerary suggested we hike there and meditate for two hours, then move away to some secluded area with little chance of meeting anyone else, where we could shade up for the hottest part of the day.
“I can’t believe we got gypped out of breakfast again,” Mitch grumbled beside me.
“I can’t believe you told Checklist Chick we’re married!”
He laughed at me. “It was the fastest way to save her life. You looked like you were about to eat her alive, for flirting with me.”
I stopped in my tracks. “You! Oh! I-I-I did not look at her like that. She can flirt with you all she wants, you, you, bigheaded lout!”
    More laughter.
“So tell me, Mr. Goodman. Why are we here, really?”
    “Humans in general?”
“Us! You and I. Why are we isolated out here in the Grand Canyon, using your undercover name? Is something going down today in Sedona? Something you’re keeping me away from?”
“Nancy Drew returns.” He groaned and stopped in the shade of a cedar to catch his breath. “Look. I didn’t know we were coming out here ’til Sudo told me this morning, same time as you. I almost think he didn’t know either.”
“How could that be? Is this some impromptu lesson?”
Mitch shook his head and took a long drink from his water bottle. “His wife. Something about her…”
He had a point. Mrs. Sudo did seem to have her own agenda. “Somebody hung a crystal in my window. In feng shui, it’s supposed to promote romance.”
    He grinned, brow raised.
“But surely,” I said, “Sudo wouldn’t allow her matchmaking game to get in the way of his science.”
“Science, hmm? More like science fiction. Sometimes I catch myself wondering if this is really going to work. Maybe he’s messing with our heads to see how long we’ll put up with it. Maybe that’s the real science he’s working on.”
“God. Now you sound like my mother.”
If he’d been a dog, his ears would’ve been pointing straight up. “She doesn’t believe it’ll work, huh?”
I sighed and heaved my pack up to my shoulders. “I’d rather not discuss it today. Suffice it to say, she has her personal fears about me going looking for my biological father. So she projects those fears into doubt about the time-travel process.”
Mitch fell into step beside me again. “Why do you want to find your father so much?”
“He’s the unknown. Well, not him so much, but what happened to him. His fate is the unknown. The ‘x’ in the equation of my life.”
“The ‘ex’? I thought his name was David.”
“No, the ‘x’, as in algebra. X plus seven equals ten.”
    “X equals three,” he supplied.
“Why’d you solve it?” His brows were drawn, and he looked at me like I was crazy. “Isn’t it enough to know x plus seven equals ten? Why’d you have to solve the problem and tell me the value of x?”
“I don’t know. Because it’s there. Because we were taught for years if there’s an unknown variable, to solve for it.”
“Exactly. So why should I do less when it concerns my own father?”
“Still. You’re willing to risk your life to solve it?”
“Risks are relative, Goodman. I seriously doubt I’ll die. The worst that might happen is I end up in the wrong year, or can’t get back.”
“And what will you do then? If you’re in the wrong year, you still won’t figure out where your father is.”
“I’ll have to deal with it, then. Or go back to Sedona and do the tele-time-transport thing all over again. Again and again, ’til I end up in 1980.”
“You’re telling me, if you end up in the wrong year, you’ll keep trying to get to 1980 rather than back to your own time?”
“Time is relative too,” I joked. “But seriously, I came here for one reason—to find out where my father went. It’s my mission.” We climbed along in silence. Disapproving silence, if I was to guess. Mitch was taking the same risks, but he seemed to think my cause was not worthwhile. Double standards! “What’s your mission, Goodman? Or, Wheels? That’s what they call you back at the Bureau, or the precinct, or wherever you came from. Why do they call you that? What are you really traveling back to 1980 for?”
    “So many questions, Ms. Drew.”
“Oh, so, what? You get to ask me anything, but I can’t ask you?”
“You can ask. Doesn’t mean I’m going to answer.”

Born and raised in itty-bitty Rifle, Colorado, Autumn Piper studiously avoided trouble…but is now inclined toward it, particularly in her novels. She thinks the best things in life are funny, and the runners-up, romantic.
An admitted carb addict, Autumn writes, edits, manages two teenagers, one husband and many supersize houseplants, and does the cooking and cleaning when forced to.

The announcer said, “Your winner tonight by way of TKO is Ryland ‘Savage’ Cooooolllle.”
    Ryland’s arm was lifted high.
The crowd cheered, and I whistled and clapped along with them. Then I froze as Ryland’s grays ensnared mine. Something powerful gleamed in them. Something predatory, and I was unable to tear away.
A thought crossed my mind. Should I run because of the way he was looking at me? I’d never had anyone look at me like that before. Not any of the menacing women in the prison who were picking their teeth with bones nor my ex when we were in the peak of our relationship. Ryland’s look was scary but another kind of scary. A pure sexual scary, and I kind of liked it.
My insides quivered, and my body ached for him. Sexual tension was a cunning enemy, always present, and I had ignored it since I’d met Ryland. But at the moment, I felt that I was going to blow if he came near me.
He moved, his body a ripple of power as he stalked toward me, ignoring the crowd seeking his attention. A reporter with a death wish stepped in front of him, cutting off his path.
Ryland halted to shoot the man a glare. The reporter changed his mind fast and scurried out of Ryland’s way. Coach threw his hands in the air, shouting at Ryland to stay, but was ignored. Ben must have had iron balls to put a hand on Ryland’s shoulder, but Ryland shot his grays to him, and Ben lifted his hands and backed off slowly.
My jaw had already dropped but fell even more when Ryland vaulted himself up the cage’s chain link, over the edge, and leaped to the ground, his knees bent to soften the impact. The spell broke when people swarmed him like flies, and I lost sight of him.
Tyeesha gave my hand a quick squeeze, mumbling, “Oh Lord, someone has it baaad.”
Who had it bad? Me or him? Because I freaking had it bad. I needed to get the hell out of here before he caught me. As I decided to run far away, maybe Hawaii or someplace farther, I watched the unfortunate person in front of me get tossed aside, and Ryland’s T-shirt-clad body materialized two inches from my face. I cranked my head back and froze.
The lights flashed behind him, and I blinked quickly. The crowd moved and buzzed around me, but they were merely background noise. His white teeth flashed in a predatory way, his grays were molten, and the way he was staring at me had my body flaring from a single flame to a freaking inferno. Run? What was the definition of that word? Before I knew it, he bent and I landed on his shoulder, my breath escaping me.
We were moving before I realized what was going on. I didn’t struggle, but I did attempt to brace myself on his back so I didn’t just hang there. He carried me out of the arena like he was a victorious warrior claiming the glory, claiming his prize. And I was his prize.

PictureEllie Anthony isn’t looking for love. She isn’t even looking for a man, but when Jax Mayson insists on keeping her and her daughter safe, she’s left with no choice but to trust him. Now she just hopes she doesn’t get hurt when she falls hard for a guy who’s known for breaking hearts.

Jax Mayson knows that Ellie is his BOOM the moment he sees her. When he finds out she has a daughter, he realizes he wants a family, and he will do whatever is necessary to keep both of his girls safe, even if that means facing the demons from his past.

    Excerpt:  Until Jax

“Thank you again for taking me.” Pulling my eyes from the road for a brief moment, I look at Ellie. Her head is resting against the window, her legs pulled up onto the seat, tucked near her ass, and her arms are wrapped tight around them. One thing I’ve noticed about her over the last few hours is she’s always wrapping her arms around herself or tucking her body into a tight ball. It’s like she’s forcing herself to stay together.

“I told you I got you, baby,” I say gently, wanting more than anything to take her hand in mine, but every time I touch her, she freezes up like she’s waiting for me to strike out at her, and I would be lying if I said that didn’t piss me the fuck off. It does; it feels like a slap in the face every time it happens.

“I know,” she whispers, and the tears I hear in her voice cause a sharp pain in my chest.

    Fuck.

“This is the turnoff.” Her feet go to the floorboard and her hands to the dash as she sits up taller, moving her face closer to the windshield. We drive up a long dirt driveway with forest and the occasional broken down car on each side. When we make it to the top of the hill, a singlewide trailer comes into view, with junk cars and garbage piled up out front.

As soon as I come to a stop, she opens her door and hops out before I can tell her to keep her little ass in the cab. I don’t even know how I’m going to deal with the range of emotions that have settled over me since seeing her for the first time.

“Fucking Boom,” I mutter, getting out behind her and doubling my steps until I’m able to reach her side, where I wrap my hand around her waist and pull her closer to me. She’s so fucking tiny that the top of her dark head sits right at my chest. So fragile, from her too soft skin to her petite size. And she’s mine.
